Standby Explained (S0, S1, S3, S4) no se porque no existe el S2
Habla de una entrada de registro que no aparece.
Es de 2002 pero creo que sigue siendo actual.

En resumen, cuanto mayor el Sx menor consumo:
S0 Working, Also S0 low-power idle Sleep (Modern Standby)
S1 Standby, asleep, CPU
Stopped consumes 5 to 35 W
S2 In the middle
S3 Suspend to RAM (context
saved to RAM). PC in standby and all fans, hard drivers and other devices are powered down into a sleep state.
Consumes less than 5W.
S4 Hibernate.
Supports WOL.
Suspend to Disk(Context saved to HDD). Supply can be removed.
S5 Soft Off
G3 Mechanical Off
